All About Carols Alterations

Carol's Alterations was established by me Carol Reed in August 2009; My first shop was based on Stanley Street in Tyldesley and quickly built up a reputation for giving a quality service with a regular customer base for ladies, gents and children's garment alterations from casual day wear to bridal and evening wear.

There is a spacious changing room available with no rush as care and attention is our priority at all times.

I have lived in Tyldesley since 1988 where previous generations of my family have settled since the 1930's they in turn opened various grocer shops to the people of Tyldesley, here on Elliott Street. What better time than now to offer my alterations service using my skills and experience for the benefit of the people of Tyldesley and the local area.

With the help and support of the people in Tyldesley and surrounding areas, it is now growing and changing for the better. In October 2010 I relocated the shop to 170 Elliott Street, Tyldesley with a better main road location this has improved the shops popularity now offering The Dress Agency on Elliott Street with a range of pre-loved garments to browse and try on at leisure.
